Urbankhetti is a 7 year old Urban farming service based out of Ahmedabad. We grow organic vegetables, develop and design fruit orchards for people at their private properties for their personal use. We also look after the maintenance.

Our process
We start by assessing the site with the client, considering the key factors. After providing an estimate based on the land and scope, we create a design layout and begin land preparation. Our team sets up the site with all necessary plants and seeds. Following setup, we conduct regular visits to monitor growth, share progress updates, and guide maintenance. We also oversee the harvest to ensure healthy fruits and vegetables.

Having Tanya guide us in our effort to grow vegetables in an organic ... fashion was very fruitful indeed. Right from preparing the beds, making the organic pesticides and using things like Jivan Amrut, to educating our staff and us, she accommodated all our choices of vegetables and herbs and helped source the seeds and saplings for most of the produce. She had a team who created structural shades for delicate crops prone to attack by rodents and monkeys. This made it very easy to start operations quickly and effi ciently. She also helped source manure and other organic fertilisers at competent rates. All in all not only did the contract with her prove benefi cial but we thoroughly enjoyed working with her.
